A birthday tradition I started during my stress sewing of 2020 was to create custom birthday banners for my daughter each year. We keep her name in the middle, and I make two end panels that reflect her theme for the year. This year, it is Transformers. I made cute Autobot and Decepticon symbols.

I just returned from my first EVER solo trip. I went to Lake Michigan. It was the best and most restorative thing I have done for myself in a very long time.

Even if you are a minimalist, you’re going to need to buy stuff at some point. How do you make sure you don’t end up with a house full of clutter again?
